Which Dallas County cities do you deliver to, and how long is the drive?
We deliver to every city and town in Dallas County. From our east Plano yard, Richardson, Garland and Rowlett are 10 to 30 minutes away. Mesquite, Addison and Carrollton run 30 to 45 minutes, and Irving and Grand Prairie 40 to 65 minutes. South county towns take 45 to 65 minutes.
Drive times are typical weekday times from our yard, and cities with their own page show the same figures there. I-635, US-75 and I-30 traffic can change them any day. For Irving, Grand Prairie and the south county, book at least 1 business day ahead.

Call (972) 812-6200Get quoteCan you put a porta potty in the alley behind my Dallas County house?
We place porta potties on private property, not in the alley. Most Dallas County alleys are public right-of-way, and a unit there can block trash trucks and may need city approval. Your driveway apron, side yard or the yard behind a 48-inch gate works instead, within 15 feet of the truck.
Many homes in Garland, Richardson, Mesquite and Dallas have rear-entry garages on an alley. That driveway pad behind the garage is often a great spot because it is level concrete. The unit sits on your side of the property line.
- Keep the door facing your yard, not the alley, for privacy.
- Leave at least 3 feet clear for the garage door and cars.
- Tell us about overhead power lines or low tree limbs over the alley.
Do older homes need a porta potty during plumbing repairs?
Yes, often. Many Dallas County homes built in the 1950s through 1970s have cast-iron drain lines under the slab. When one of those lines cracks, the repair can shut off every toilet for days or weeks. A standard porta potty on a 28-day rental, serviced weekly, keeps the house livable.

In our 2026 call study, 11% of live calls were home remodels, broken plumbing or failed septic. Those callers usually needed a unit fast and asked how billing works.
We bill long rentals every 28 days, not by calendar month. Pickup is not automatic. Call or text when the plumber is done, and billing stops that day.
What about unincorporated Dallas County and septic properties?
Unincorporated Dallas County is small, but it has its own office. Dallas County Unincorporated Area Services, at 500 Elm Street, Suite 6100, handles building, floodplain and septic permits there. Call (214) 653-6565. Larger-lot homes in places like Sunnyvale and Seagoville may still run on septic tanks.
Inside a city, your city handles permits. Outside city limits, the county development permit covers construction, grading, floodplain work and on-site sewage facilities (OSSF). Check before a septic replacement starts, because the permit timeline sets how long you rent.
For large rural lots, the same rules apply as anywhere: firm, level ground within about 15 feet of the truck.
Do park and church events need extra planning?
Yes. Each Dallas County city runs its own park and special event permits, so the rules in Irving differ from the rules in Mesquite. Ask the permit office how many restrooms it expects. For public events, include at least 1 wheelchair-accessible unit per cluster under ADA 213.2.
City parks often limit where trucks can drive. We set units on a parking-lot edge or hard path. A hasp and padlock are free on request.
- Size the event with our guest count calculator.
- Add an accessible unit for each cluster.
- Plan church, school and park event restrooms early when the date falls on a Saturday.
How do contractors handle jobsite toilets on tight Dallas County lots?
On tight Dallas County infill lots, contractors usually set one standard unit at the front corner of the lot, off the sidewalk. OSHA Table D-1 requires 1 toilet for crews of 20 or fewer. We service each unit weekly and bill every 28 days, with a free padlock on request.
Teardown-and-rebuild lots in older neighborhoods rarely have room for a truck to back in. Our driver needs the unit within about 15 feet of where the truck parks, so the curbside front corner works best. Keep the unit out of the street and off the public sidewalk.
Commercial crews in Irving or Dallas can open a business account. See our jobsite toilet guide for crew sizing.
