When should units arrive for a game-day lot or watch party?
Units for a game-day lot or watch party near Arlington's Entertainment District should arrive at least 1 day before the event. Stadium traffic can stall a truck for hours, and drivers can't promise an exact arrival time. We drop a day or more early and pick up after the crowds clear, usually Monday.

Plan the spot with the lot owner. We place units on private property with the owner's OK, not on the street or sidewalk.
- Ask for a free hasp and padlock so units stay locked until your group arrives.
- Set units on pavement, away from drive lanes.
- Big tailgate groups can add a hand wash station near the food.

Arlington's special events ordinance applies to gatherings expected to draw 500 or more people. The ordinance asks for an application at least 90 days ahead, or 30 days at a major sports complex. Organizers must provide portable toilets to supplement the venue's own restrooms, based on projected attendance. Private-property events off public streets are exempt.
Read the Arlington special events ordinance for the full text. Since August 27, 2025, Arlington takes special event permit applications online through ArlingtonPermits.com, as explained in the city's permitting update.
The ordinance sets no fixed ratio, so bring a count to the city. Our method: 1 unit per 50 guests, plus extra for long events and alcohol. Not legal advice.
How long is the drive from our Plano yard to Arlington?
Arlington is about 40 to 50 miles from our yard at 6000 Split Trail Rd in east Plano, roughly 50 to 75 minutes each way. Drivers take the President George Bush Turnpike to SH-161 south, then I-30 west or SH-360. Same-day delivery is unlikely, so book at least 1 business day ahead. Delivery cost reflects the distance.
The driver calls 30 to 60 minutes before arriving. Weekend units drop Friday or Thursday and return Monday, at no extra charge.
- Book weekend events by Wednesday.
- On stadium event days, we schedule around traffic, not through it.
- Order everything at once so one trip covers the job.
How many toilets does a large jobsite need?
OSHA Table D-1 sets jobsite counts. A crew of 20 or fewer needs 1 toilet. From 21 to 199 workers, plan 1 seat and 1 urinal per 40 workers. At 200 or more, plan 1 seat and 1 urinal per 50 workers. A 250-person build needs 5 seats and 5 urinals.
| Workers | OSHA Table D-1 | Standard units (each has a urinal) |
|---|---|---|
| 15 | 1 toilet | 1 |
| 60 | 2 seats + 2 urinals | 2 |
| 120 | 3 seats + 3 urinals | 3 |
| 250 | 5 seats + 5 urinals | 5 |
Read 29 CFR 1926.51. Handwashing is required under 1926.51(f). Many crews add units beyond the minimum to cut walking time on big sites.
Job units run on a 28-day cycle with weekly service. See our jobsite toilet guide.

Which setup fits a backyard watch party?
A backyard watch party of 75 guests over 5 hours with drinks needs 4 standard units: 2 base, 1 for length and 1 for alcohol. Add 1 hand wash station. A deluxe unit with a sink fits about 50 guests, so for bigger crowds pair it with standard units.
| Guests | Hours | Drinks | Units | Sinks |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 30 | 3 | Yes | 2 | 1 |
| 75 | 5 | Yes | 4 | 1 |
| 150 | 6 | Yes | 7 | 2 |
Compare the deluxe unit with a sink and the standard unit before you book.
Viridian and south Arlington HOAs: where can the unit sit?
Viridian and many south Arlington subdivisions have HOA rules on items visible from the street. Ask your HOA how many days a unit may stay. A standard unit is 43.5 inches wide, so a backyard drop needs a 48-inch gate and firm ground within about 15 feet of the truck.
- Mark the spot with a cone, flag or ribbon.
- You don't need to be home if the gate is open or we have the code.
- After rain we set units on the driveway or gravel, not the lawn.
Short parties are one flat rate per drop-off and pickup; see our party and weekend guide.
