Hosting a reunion or cookout at a Lewisville Lake park?
A lake park reunion of 60 to 100 guests usually needs 2 standard units, set where the truck can reach. Our driver can roll a unit only about 15 feet from where the truck parks. Many lakeside pavilions sit down slopes or across soft ground, so pick a level spot near the road or parking lot.

Ask the park office before you book. Much of the land around Lewisville Lake is federal land managed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, and each park sets its own rules on outside equipment.
- Choose a firm, level pad near the parking lot, not sand or a slope.
- Ask for a free hasp and padlock if the units stay overnight in a public park.
- Pair the units with a hand washing station when food is served.
When does Lewisville require a special event permit?
Lewisville counts a gathering of more than 100 attendees outside a property's normal use as a special event. The city asks for the permit application at least 2 weeks before the event and suggests applying up to 6 months ahead. Portable restrooms are part of your site plan, so size them before you apply.
Start at the City of Lewisville special event permit page. The city also created entertainment districts, including Old Town and the Castle Hills community district, with lighter rules on event frequency and the application fee. Confirm your location's rules with the city.
Our sizing calculator gives you a unit count to put on the form. The city has the final word. This is not legal advice.
How long is the drive to Lewisville, and is same-day realistic?
Lewisville is about 28 to 32 miles from our yard at 6000 Split Trail Rd in east Plano. Drivers take SH-121 west to I-35E, about 35 to 50 minutes depending on traffic. Same-day delivery is possible Mon–Sat when a truck and unit are free, and a call before mid-morning gives the best odds. Booking 1 business day ahead is safer.
The driver calls 30 to 60 minutes before arriving. We can't promise an exact time, so weekend units drop Friday and come back Monday, with no charge for those extra days.
- Mark the spot with a cone, flag or ribbon.
- Leave the gate open or text us the code.
- Book weekend events by Wednesday.

Many Lewisville subdivisions, including Castle Hills and Vista Ridge, have HOA rules about items visible from the street. Ask your HOA how many days a unit may stay and where. A side yard or backyard keeps the unit out of view, if your gate is at least 48 inches wide.
A standard unit is 43.5 inches wide, so a 4-foot clear gate opening is the minimum. Below that, we use the driveway.
Quick placement checklist
- Level ground: concrete, gravel, packed dirt or dry grass.
- Within about 15 feet of where the truck can park.
- Door facing away from the street, if your HOA prefers.
Gated sections just need a gate code or a guard call ahead.
What does an Old Town event need?
An Old Town Lewisville event open to the public needs at least 1 wheelchair-accessible unit in each cluster under ADA 213.2, which requires 5% and never fewer than 1. A 300-guest, 5-hour street event with beer needs 12 units under our method, plus 3 hand wash stations.
| Step | Math for 300 guests | Units |
|---|---|---|
| Base: 1 per 50 | 300 ÷ 50 | 6 |
| Longer than 4 hours | 1 per 100 | +3 |
| Alcohol served | 1 per 100 | +3 |
| Total | 12 units (at least 1 accessible) | |
| Hand wash | 1 per 4 toilets | 3 stations |
Read the ADA 213.2 text and see our wheelchair-accessible unit for door and floor specs.

Renting while your bathroom is torn out?
A bathroom remodel in Lewisville usually needs 1 standard unit on a 28-day rental. Each cycle includes weekly pump-out, cleaning and restocking. The first 28 days include delivery, and later cycles cost less. Pickup is not automatic, so call or text when the remodel ends, and billing stops that day.
Remodels often run longer than planned. With 28-day billing, you only pay for the cycles you use, and extra service visits are available Monday through Saturday, quoted before they are scheduled.

What is on the quote?
A Lewisville quote lists 7 line items: the unit, rental period, delivery, pickup, servicing, sales tax and any rush charge. The drive from east Plano is built into the delivery line, not added later. Cancel or reschedule free until 7 PM the business day before delivery. After that, a trip fee may apply.
Same-day orders cancel free until the truck is dispatched. Pay by card through a text or email invoice link with e-signature. Churches, schools, government agencies and qualifying nonprofits with a valid Texas sales tax exemption certificate pay no sales tax. Send the certificate before you pay.
